Outback Metal Fabrication, Inc. is a steel and aluminum fabrication facility located in Tavares, Florida. Our facility includes areas designated for staging, fabrication and storage of raw materials and completed assemblies.

Our primary function is to fabricate overhead sign structures. Our overhead sign structures are built to meet the standards and specifications of the Florida Department of Transportation and are guaranteed. We also fabricate aluminum and steel multi-post sign assemblies, single and double sign arms including brackets, miscellaneous steel fabrication, bridge bearing sets, pilaster brackets, hand rails etc. for various state-owned/ motivated companies and local roadway builders. Outback Metal Fabrication, Inc. is certified by the American Institute of Steel Construction and is a registered member of the American Welding Society. In addition, we have a Quality Control Program that is accepted by the Florida Department of Transportation listed as facility number SS-11-003 and with the following states Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Texas and Alabama.

Outback Metal Fabrication, Inc. is staffed by AWS D1.1/ D1.5 certified welders. Owner and Production Manager, Jim Radcliffe, has been involved in the steel construction industry in excess of thirty years; the last twenty of which have been dedicated to the fabrication of FDOT overhead sign structures.
